I made this pinwheel patterned quilt using the stack-n-wack method to create the “kaleidoscope-like” blocks. The fabric was such a delight, I had to appliqué the toys on too!

This quilt was made from various fat quarters from my stash – all calicos. The border is embellished with a needle-turned appliqué of vine, leaves, flowers, and birds.

My love for quilting and years of experience with needle and thread has evolved into what I describe as a joyful way to spend any day. The quilting techniques that I enjoy include: hand piecing, machine piecing, and appliqué. The appliqué process is either needle-turned by hand or machine stitched. Hand or machine stitching creates the final product for warmth and beauty – custom made quilts and quilted fabrics for other uses that enrich and compliment life at home.
I offer my passion for quilting to others who do not quilt or sew but who enjoy handmade elements in their home, and want to live with them as part of a comfortable and unique lifestyle.
